With the drop in temperatures this week, the indoor range will not be available as originally scheduled for the evening of Wednesday January 5th.
Let’s hope next week is better.
There will be a cease fire on the outdoor range this Saturday October 30, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
Club members who are committed to supporting the continuing operation of the club are requested to show up to tidy up the outdoor range before Mother Nature begins to launch the winter attack. Any garbage, paper targets that have blown into the bush, back boards that are too perforated to hold a target, metal targets that will require repair or replacement need to be brought in from the target rails and down-range areas. Firing lines and down range areas need to be clear of obstructions and debris.
Additionally, 4 or 5 club members are needed to complete the backstop renovations and clean up the indoor range if there is to be any indoor shooting season this year.
Dress for the weather. Wear appropriate footwear and work gloves.
You will be required to sign in upon arrival.
COVID-19 protocols to be followed. Please don’t come if you are sick, or have been in contact with someone who is sick, or have been asked to self isolate.
Access to the range is now possible as the snow has been pushed aside on the main travel areas at the range. Take care when walking through the snow to go down range to set your targets.
Vehicle access to the range is not possible at this time after Mother Nature dumped an over abundance of the white stuff.
Snow removal contractors are extremely busy this week and we are on the list to have the snow removed from the range.
So your patience is appreciated as we wait for our turn to have the snow cleared from the range property.
