FALL clean up

There will be a cease fire on the outdoor range this Saturday October 30, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Club members who are committed to supporting the continuing operation of the club are requested to show up to tidy up the outdoor range before Mother Nature begins to launch the winter attack. Any garbage, paper targets that have blown into the bush, back boards that are too perforated to hold a target, metal targets that will require repair or replacement need to be brought in from the target rails and down-range areas. Firing lines and down range areas need to be clear of obstructions and debris.

Additionally, 4 or 5 club members are needed to complete the backstop renovations and clean up the indoor range if there is to be any indoor shooting season this year.

Dress for the weather. Wear appropriate footwear and work gloves.

You will be required to sign in upon arrival.

COVID-19 protocols to be followed. Please don’t come if you are sick, or have been in contact with someone who is sick, or have been asked to self isolate.

CHANGES TO RANGE RULES

This is an advance notice that there will be some changes made to the current range rules.

Changes will relate to entering and exiting the range property, showing proof of membership and confirming attendance. Once the Board of Directors approves the changes, and the effective start date is determined, the new rules will be posted.

Returning Gate Keys

A Key Deposit Box has been installed at the front door of the clubhouse for you to deposit your gate keys from previous years.

Many thanks to all those club members who have already returned their gate keys from last year and other years. These keys do get re-issued on a random schedule and by returning them every year, the club saves some dollars by not having to cut more keys than necessary.

Range Night 2020 Cancelled

Effective immediately, the previously scheduled Wednesday evening Range Nights are cancelled until further notice.

Yes, the uptick in the current COVID-19 numbers is the driving factor.

When will the Indoor Range re-open? Date yet to be determined.

Club members with a 2020 gate key continue to have access to the outdoor range, as long as they continue to respect all the COVID-19 protocols about not coming to the range if you are sick, or have been in contact with someone who is known or suspected of having COVID-19 or have traveled outside Yukon in the previous 14 days. While at the range, you are reminded to keep your 6 foot/2 meter distance from others while at the range.
