Yukon Championship – Rifle Silhouette

The Annual Yukon Rifle Silhouette Championships will be happening at the gun club on Saturday and Sunday June 4 & 5, 2016.  As a “Registered Shoot” your scores will be recorded to determine your classification for the Nationals being held in Calgary, Alberta July 17 to 23, 2016 at the Rosebud Silhouette and Benchrest Club should  you be planning to attend.

Registration and rifle weigh-in starts at 8:00 am Saturday at the  Club House. Shooting commences at 9:00 am both days.

Fees: $10 per rifle class

Small bore (rim fire) Hunter and Standard class in the morning.

Large bore (centre fire) Hunter and Standard class in the afternoon.

Please note: The Bench Rest Rifle area will not be available to members until after 4:30 PM.

IMPORTANT: Annual General Meeting of the Yukon Shooting Federation will be held at NOON on Saturday June 4th.

 

YUKON CHAMPIONSHIPS – RIFLE SILHOUETTE

As a “Registered Shoot” your scores will be recorded to determine your classification for the Nationals being held in Prince George, BC from July 5-11, 2015, should  you be planning to attend.

Registration and rifle weigh-in starts at 8:00 am Saturday at the  Club House. Shooting commences at 9:00 am both days.

Fees: $10 per rifle class

Small bore (rim fire) Hunter and Standard class in the morning.

Large bore (centre fire) Hunter and Standard class in the afternoon.

IMPORTANT: Annual General Meeting of the Yukon Shooting Federation will be held at NOON on Saturday May 30th.

Yukon Handgun Championship Event Details

Fees: $10 per event. Enter as few or as many events as you want.

$100 enters you in all 12 events.

Event Schedule.

Saturday 08:00 am – registration for Silhouette events

  • Saturday 09:00 am – Metallic Center Fire Silhouette shooting begins.
  • Three classes – Revolver, Open sight, Scoped Sight – 40 rounds each class

Saturday 12:15 pm – registration for IPSC and Falling Plates events

  • Saturday  1:00 pm – IPSC Style
  • 7 targets, 14 rounds, magazine change. Timed event.
  • Saturday 3:00 pm – Falling Plates
  • Two classes – Revolver and Automatic pistol. Double knock-out each class.

Sunday 08:00 am – registration for Silhouette events and Long Range Center Fire and Rim Fire events

  • Sunday 9:00 am – Metallic Rim Fire Silhouette shooting begins
  • Two classes – open Sight and Scoped Sight – 40 rounds each class
  • Sunday 11:00 am – Long Range Precision – 5 targets, 20 rounds, 150 yards (CF) and 100 yards (RF)
  • Two classes – rim fire and centre fire, off-hand, most knock overs of metallic targets with the least number of bullets.

Sunday 12:15 pm – registration for PPC Walkdown and Steel Challenge

  • Sunday 1:00 pm – PPC Walkdown
  • Timed event, three targets, 30 rounds – prone, sitting, standing – 50 metres, 25 metres, 15 metres
  • Sunday 3:00 pm – Steel Challenge (Smoke ‘n Hope)
  • 25 rounds, 5 targets timed event

Sunday 6:00 pm

  • Awards for Top Shot each event and Aggregate Top Shot
  • Bring your dinner, the BBQ is available

Regulations regarding safe transportation of handguns apply. Participants must hold a valid Authorization to Transport (ATT).
